Strawberry Banana Smoothie
I don’t rise and shine. I caffeinate and hope for the best.
If I can manage to make a strawberry banana smoothie in the morning, then I am confident that you can too! Full disclosure: I am not a morning person and have fangs, scales, hooves and a tail until about 11 am.
Smoothies are not only delicious, but quick and easy to make with almost any fruit you have on hand whether fresh or frozen. We have bananas and fresh strawberries at the moment, but feel free to substitute other fruit to customize your smoothie.
We normally add a scoop of Vega, French Vanilla Plant-Based Shake to our smoothies, that we purchased at Well.ca.
Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- 10 strawberries
- 1 scoope plant-based protein powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- water and ice
Instructions
- Add banana, strawberries, protein powder, vanilla, maple syrup and a bit of ice to a high-speed blender. Fill to the 'full' line with water. Blend until smooth.Enjoy!
