Crispy Coated Fries
Crispy coated fries. Made with potatoes grown right here on Nixon Farm—flavored with garlic, lemon plus a secret ingredient —and tossed with just a little extra-virgin olive oil, these fries emerge from the oven crisp and delicious.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I am just so grateful for all the ways I can eat potatoes, and this evening, I am grateful for these crispy coated fries. Now stay tuned and read on to find out our secret ingredient.
Crispy Coated Fries
Ingredients
- 6 small potatoes cut into fries
- 1/2 lemon juiced
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425℉
- Wash and cut potatoes into fries. Dry well with a kitchen towel then place in a bowl.
- Add lemon juice, soy sauce, and olive oil to the bowl and toss. Add spices and salt and stir until all veggies are coated.
- Spread the fries over the baking sheet and bake until the fries are golden and crispy, about 30 minutes, turning halfway through.
