Welcome to Nixon Farm — a historic (read: rundown) Richmond, Ontario (within Ottawa city limits) farm, property brimming with character, charm, and story. From our weathered barns and milk house to our wildflower patches, overgrown gardens, and vintage tractor, every corner of the farm offers an authentic, moody, and rustic backdrop you won’t find anywhere else.
Whether you’re capturing lifestyle portraits, family milestones, engagements, or styled shoots, Nixon Farm is a one-of-a-kind canvas for your vision.

Note: Nixon Farm is a working flower farm under restoration. Some structures are in progress, and our gardens are delightfully wild. Photographers who embrace authenticity and natural imperfection will find it especially compelling.
Pricing (Subject to Change)
- Mini Session (1–2 hours): $50–$100
- Half Day (up to 4 hours): $150–$250
- Full Day (up to 8 hours): $300–$500
- Commercial / Exclusive Use: Contact us for a custom quote
Add-Ons:
- Vintage feed cart
- Farm props, including our old Massey Ferguson tractor
- Horses in paddocks (photographed from a safe distance)
Booking Details
- Minimum booking: 1 hour
- Full payment required to confirm reservation (non-refundable unless rescheduled for weather)
- Request at least 7 days in advance for availability
- Reschedules permitted for inclement weather
- No pets (blame Stevie Nickers- she’s made the credits roll for one too many coyotes to trust her around dogs)

Farm Guidelines
- Photographers must carry liability insurance
- All visitors must sign our Farm Safety & Release of Liability form before entry (form emailed upon booking)
- Stay in designated photography areas (this is also our private home)
- No climbing on unsafe structures or removing plants
- Horses must remain in their paddocks (no entry into horse areas)
- Picking flowers is prohibited
